About
Transforming Our Mistakes into Our Mission: Using the Messiness of Our Lives to Inspire Others. I dropped out of High School at the age of 15 1/2 and went to live on a Commune. As you can imagine, my parents were not thrilled. But this: my father said these words to me: "I can't make your mistakes for you." And the mistakes piled up. What I found, a bit later in life, sharing my mistakes - my shame, my awful choices, the poisonous relationships - with others was so very liberating. Transforming my mistakes into my mission was and is so empowering; giving others the power to feel safe and to use their lives to help others. I can honestly say that I have taken all that messiness, and that pain, and those god-awful experiences to encourage others - so they too can share their stories. To WRITE/RIGHT our lives. Mistakes Into Mission - using our very own lives - our stories - our words - to inspire, encourage and to awaken the greatness within our own lives.
