April has been a month of quieter work, but we’re so excited to tell you all about what’s been going on behind the scenes!
First, and perhaps most thrilling, we celebrated our first full year of Noon Miracle and with Amy Ferris launched the Ken Ferris Scholarship for Women Writers. In just over a week, we received over $10K in donations, an amount which will allow us to offer at least 40 full scholarships in the coming months. After four weeks of We the Women with Jane Sibbett (as well as a few extra weeks before then), there has been an extraordinary body of work produced by exceptional writers - and it’s very nearly ready to be shared with you. Our latest anthology will be released next week. And, if you haven’t seen the others that we’ve produced in collaboration with fINK PRESS, you can see the growing collection here.
Amy Ferris & Kate Jackson’s workshop series, Grieving Out Loud is fast approaching! Beginning on May 26th and meeting every Tuesday for four weeks, this series will explore what it is to grieve and how we can release it through our words. Scholarships are available for all. Find out more here.

As we enter May, we are thrilled to be approaching another table read! Miriam by Levi Alexander is a feature film set in 80s America. It follows a young girl chosen to be the first Bat Mitzvah of her orthodox community - an honor which conflict with her true passion: skateboarding. This table read will be live on the 30th of May at 10am PT, 1pm ET. Tickets and more information are available here.
