July Newsletter

July was a month of tremendous activity. We hosted two more spectacular table reads on our platform, prepared for the start of our Noon Miracle Summer School, met with talented screenwriters to discuss plans for carrying their projects into the future, released weekly episodes of Unscripted: Believe at Noon hosted by the spectacular Amy Goldberg, and received brilliant new submissions from artists around the world.

We’d like to start by sending another huge congratulations to the casts, writers, and production teams that came together for the last two table reads of our Summer Series. Both The Christmas Bell and The Messenger were highly successful fundraisers for the writers’ elected charities, and we all benefitted from seeing the incredible talent from established and new performers alike. The response to all three of the pieces in the series was beyond what we could have imagined would transpire when Amy Goldberg, Amy Ferris, and Jane Sibbett mused about how much fun it would be to see Marrying George Clooney performed live again. Thank you to the many generous hands and hearts that made these Summer Table Reads light work. It’s so much fun to put on a show!

“Much love and respect to all the dedication that went into this. It was incredible to see and experience. The honesty and love that went into this is palpable. Thank you.” -Karen H.

Next week Tuesday, August 5th, Amy Ferris’ course Awakening Our Humanity Through Words begins! This prompt-based course encourages each writer to dig deep and write their truth with courage and conviction. Classes meet once weekly for 90 minutes on Tuesday evenings, 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT, for four weeks. At the end of the course, one writer will be selected to have a 500 word piece published in an online magazine. There are very few spaces remaining – sign up soon or wish you had!

“I go to Amy because I know I will find warm, skilled, respectful leadership that supports me to write freely and authentically. Amy’s writing groups always help me find something new in myself, and that enhances my life as well as my work. I’m always uplifted by meaningful connection with other writers, because Amy attracts writers who, in addition to being talented, are fine humans. Amy lets us know right away that we are gathered to support each other, not to compete; that we are present to show up, not to show off. She helps us bring out the best in ourselves and each other.” –Samantha W.

Last but not least, we have a brief update about Sam George’s course, Write the Perfect Story. Though initially imagined as an online course, a truly miraculous sequence of events has made it possible for us to offer this instead as an in-person, holistic retreat in Bali in Autumn 2025. Partnering with his brother, Matt George (a Bali resident since 2006), and our founder Jane Sibbett, these three instructors will provide students with university-accredited creative writing lessons, prompts related to your adventures across the island, opportunities to observe traditional ceremonies and immerse yourself in cultural attractions, and energetic connections with the Balinese land. Preliminary information is available here for inquiring minds, and if you’d like more specifics on cost and anticipated dates, please write to us here. Though we would love to bring everyone from Noon Miracle with us, we will only have space for ten people, so let us know if you’ll be meeting us in paradise!

Wishing you an inspired August,

The Noon Miracle Team
