Like all good midpoints, June saw us through the ending of one era and the beginning of another. As we closed out our Spring Table Reads Series with Julia Pearlstein’s ANDY & ME, we launched straight into the beginning of Summer School with Levi Alexander’s Structure Lab: Outline and Ruby Fink’s Write a 10 Chapter Book in 10 Weeks. Busy busy!
We want to extend our thanks once more to the entire cast and audience of ANDY & ME. A huge number of people stepped up at the last minute in a huge way, and we mean it when we say that we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you there to help bring this gorgeous, tender, and true story to life. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
“What a wonderful reading! I laughed and cried and thoroughly enjoyed every moment!” –m.m.
Our first event this month is also the first of its kind. Sinziana Paduroiu kicks off our brand new Noon Miracle Speaker Series with two interconnected casual lectures on quantum physics, taking us on a deep dive into the hidden workings of the universe and how closely they mirror our own bodies and minds. This Friday, July 3rd, at 5:30pm PT Sinziana will start with the simple stuff in her first lecture Cosmos to Quantum: Decoding the Fabric of Reality. Her next lecture on Friday, July 17th, is on The Mind Universe: The Science of the Subconscious and the Physics of Perception, taking us deep into our internal world. She will be answering audience questions submitted in advance and is offering a discount for people interested in attending both lectures. Learn more or sign up now here.
Our next Summer School workshop led by Amy Ferris begins next week! Choosing Me is a radical two-part crash course that invites women to fall back in love with every bit of their lives - the down & dirty, the hidden, the shame-filled; the stories often too scary to tell or share. Amy is no stranger to the messiness of real life or the liberation of embracing it. In the space she holds, [something something something]. The workshop runs on the 7th & 14th of July, but the lessons will live on forever. Find out more about the course and how to join here.
And, though Richard Dubin’s brilliant course on how to be completely present, mindful, and aligned with your dreams isn’t officially starting until August, we would be remiss if we didn’t remind you to look out for Breaking Up with Your/Self.
Our final parting note is one of great enthusiasm. We are beginning to build our table reads for the next season, and this time, we are focusing on putting the words of our community in the spotlight. In case you missed it, we are currently accepting script submissions to be featured in our upcoming Autumn and Winter Table Reads seasons and we would LOVE to hear from you. Dive deep into the archives. Shake the dust from your brad-bound copy. Clear the cobwebs from the box you stuffed your last draft into and send it into us instead.
We are looking for stories that uplift, inspire, and deliver a clear message of hope for humanity. We are looking for stories that remind us of the joy of real connection. We are looking for stories to bring to life.
If you have a completed script of a feature film, play, or TV episode, find out more about how to submit your work here. We can’t wait to read your words.
Wishing you a jubilant July,
❤ The Noon Miracle Team
